What we stop. And what we don’t.

Most security companies bury this part. We lead with it. Here is exactly what Sessions blocks, and exactly where it cannot help. No asterisks.

  What we stop

  • An unauthorized device staying logged in

The core of the product. Any device that is not on your list is removed, around the clock, usually within seconds of showing up.

  • A hijacker locking you out

We harden the settings an attacker uses to change your password or recovery email, so they cannot shut you out of your own account.

  • The slow-burn takeover

Someone who has been sitting quietly in your account for days does not get to stay. The guard finds them and removes them, the same way it removes any device you did not keep.

  • A device you didn’t approve

Telegram notifies us the instant a new device logs in. If it isn’t on the list you kept, the guard removes it in seconds, once your guard is past its one-time 24-hour warm-up.

  the part people forget

Getting locked out is the real nightmare.

When someone takes a Telegram, the cruelest move is to lock the owner out: change the password, swap the recovery email, and leave you on the outside. Sessions hardens those exact settings the moment you connect, so an intruder cannot pull the door shut behind them. You keep the way back in.

What we will not promise you.

  • 01

We see a login that is not you the instant it happens, and remove it in seconds. The one catch is Telegram’s own rule: a session can’t remove others until it is 24 hours old, so your guard has a one-time warm-up the first day you arm it. We do not call that prevention, because it is not.

A silent reader on a device you approved can stay quiet. We cannot catch a reader on a device you have already approved. What we remove is the devices you did not.

No magic, no maybes.

Just the things we stop, and the things we will not pretend to. That is the whole deal.
